After a very long time, the Government of India has decided to launch a symbol for our curreny Rupee and now this symbol is approved as the new Indian rupee symbol which is a mix of Devanagri ‘Ra’ and Roman symbol ‘R’ by the Cabinet of Indian Government. India rupee will be the fifth currency in the world to have a distinct identity and it will join the elite club of US dollar, British pound, Sterling Euro and Japanese yen.
