Taxes We Pay to the Government

Hello Friends,

The oil ministry is proposing to give subsidy on four refills in a year. Then it will cost Rs 800 after four refills as the Government is giving Rs 395 subsidy to each cylinder.

I am just confused to think that where our money has gone which we pay to Government as tax. They are saying that we are not paying the tax to the Government completely. But how is it possible, just look out some of the categories through which we pay the taxes to the Government.

I am just starting from our daily life ---

We pay three type of taxes:
1. Income Tax - to the Central Government
2. Sales Tax - to the State Government
3. Service Tax - to the service we use

Lets see one example--
We live in a home so we have to pay House Tax, Water Tax and Electricity Tax which we use. Every single item which we bought from the market for our daily use, we pay sales tax on those items.

If we own a vehicle then we have to pay Road Tax, Life Tax and Petrol/ Diesel Tax. If we use the public vehicle, we also pay the service tax.

If we are having the mobile phones, we pay tax on each recharge.

If we take food in restaurants/ hotels then we have to pay sales tax there also.

Now we can say that we pay a lot of taxes in our country. But still the Government is looking to give burden on mango people by different ways.

The main question arise here that " Do we get all the required facilities properly".

Think about it and try to get all the facilities properly.

Thanks
Rishi Agarwal
